Our Equestrian Co-op is for any Homeschoolers that would love to spend a few hours on a Thursday morning at the stable riding, learning and caring for horses. Melinda from Amp Stables is a fantastic trainer and teacher! Our kids’ mornings will include the basic learning of horseback riding styles, enjoy playing fun interactive games, and also learn about the different breeds and horses’ anatomy. Our riders are encouraged to participate in instructed riding time for up to 30 mins of each daily activity. As well as learning the proper care for horses, such as grooming, and tack. Each day we have a variety of hands-on horse activities for our students and their friends to spend the morning learning all aspects of horsemanship in our safe outdoor environment.

Minimum of 6, Maximum 15 students.

*Weather: Our co-op will continue during rainy days. They may not be able to ride depending on the conditions of the ground. Safety is our main priority. If there is flooding, they may not be able to ride. It will be up to Melinda’s discretion. Severe weather will be called off on the morning of by text and rescheduled for a later date.

Friends that are in school are welcome to join us on their days off.
